At VCA, we are focused on strengthening leadership capabilities across our hospitals through ongoing development, including programs like Crucial Conversations, to support thoughtful, respectful communication and a positive team environment. We also continue to invest in building strong care teams—prioritizing appropriate support‑staff‑to‑doctor ratios and developing our technicians so Associates feel valued and supported in their roles. Our goal is to create workplaces where people feel comfortable speaking up, confident in the care they provide, and supported by the team around them.
