Pros

Friendships & being able to learn from other experienced techs. The bigger the hospital the more opportunity to cross-train in other departments. Good place to learn as much as possible and leave.

Cons

Low pay even as an RVT - its below average. Reviews are not done on a timely basis. Management is not reviewed by staff - this is a learning step that VCA highly ignores. Lots of favoritism, a who -you- know environment. Corporate disconnected from the reality of working in a hospital.
