Pros

The discount for your pets is decent but that is about it.

Cons

Everything. The management at this hospital is totally corrupt. They only care about the money and could care less about their employees. There are way to many family members working there who are related to the management team and they get away with anything and everything (including tardiness, absences and being verbally abusive to other team members). Dr. Steinberg (who founded the hospital) still works there and is in a management position. He is hated by the other vets in the area so getting any business to come in is extremely difficult. He likes to blame this issue on everyone else though and the hospital is declining rapidly. I doubt this hospital will even be able to make it another two years. They have been in the red for almost a year now. I would never go back here. There is no advancement opportunities, the pay is an absolute joke, the health and vacation benefits are horrible and they refuse to pay out any unused vacation when you leave.

Pros

I met a lot of very nice dogs and got to play with them and give baths

Cons

I was stuck in the back and had little human interaction, the dogs were constantly barking (screaming) they seemed so sad all of the time they were in cages and sometimes the dogs were not very nice, which is actually understandable because they're little prisoners in poop covered cages
