If you are full time employee the only benefit of REAL value are the free exams, free vaccines, discounts on food, medicine, flea and tick control and Heart-worm Medication...reduced pricing for lab work and other services, but this can get out of hand quickly!

Cons

Management that does not care, Doctors that yell at you even if you are trying to help, Supervisors that don't care and will do what they have to do to ensure that they have the holidays off while you work. The attitude of my supervisor...if you don't like it I can show you where the door is. Wages that are well below the market area...raises are basically a slap in the face

The discounts for your pets is nice, monthly meetings to keep employees up to speed with new policies.

Cons

Everything else. Management is conniving. The threat of being fired is always looming. Not a lot of focus on the client services. Be prepared to loose hours in order for vca to make their monthly budget.
