Pros

I've been this field since I graduated high school in 1999. I've never worked in any environment so positive and uplifting amongst coworker's as veg is. Ever since I heard of edge I know I wanted to work here and it took me a very long time to leave my clinic of over a decade. I agreed to per diem just to get my foot in the door as that's all they said they were hiring for at the time. Even still I worked there about 30 hours average every week and I've never been happier at any Hospital.

Cons

The company boasts about inclusiveness however per diem nurses are not included in anything. We have major FOMO. We don't get access to any of the documents we don't get a veg email or anything even though we work just as much or more than other fellow veggies.

Thank you for sharing this feedback! Supporting our VEGgies is important to us, so we’re happy our benefits are making your experience here even better. Culture is important to us, as is ensuring VEGgies have a work/life balance, so we're sorry that your experience hasn't been in line with the environment we aim to create at VQ. We also hear your concerns about management; managers play an important role for our VEGgies, so your feedback is really important as we continue to help them grow and develop. We send out a quarterly pulse survey, so we’d love for you to submit this feedback anonymously so we can look into it. We also welcome you to reach out to your People Partner if you’d rather have a direct conversation.

Thank you for sharing this feedback and for the time you spent at VEG. While we're happy to hear that your hospital environment was welcoming and friendly, our goal is for all of our VEGgies to feel valued and fairly compensated, so we’re sorry to hear that was not your experience. Even though you’ve moved on, you’re welcome to reach out to stephaniedemars@veg.vet if you'd like to share more about your experience. .
