The organization is trapped in a cycle of dysfunction: incompetent people are promoted into management, they reorganize the company, replace one group of incompetent managers with another, and then the whole process repeats. Sometimes there is no common sense in the decision making. They obvious lag behind peers in tech or ai adoption.

Senior tech leadership will make you cry unfortunately. They're rude, ok, but also not very good at their jobs. It's common to be ignored, or even find secret email chains where you have been personally insulted and laughed at. Bizarre, it never used to be like this (5 years ago) where we used to actually be the "nice" hedge fund... Not anymore unfortunately. Also if you're an engineer prepare to use AI to develop multiple products at the same time (oof)
