Pros

Potential benefits of working with Kaiser as a partner may bring stability, there are dedicated staff members who truly care about the patients they serve.

Cons

Older well paid employees seem to be targeted and feeling forced out and replaced with less experienced less costly staff. Their is no sense of loyalty every department head is focused on saving their job. The hospitals are taking advantage of the fact that there is no longer a nursing shortage.

Pros

pay scale for staff rn decent, exciting changes being made to accomodate more Kaiser patients. Leadership that involved with direct patient care are supportive in what can be a difficult political situation with budget cuts.

Cons

they take advantage that this economy makes it hard for people to leave. Directors are insensitive to demands made in what seems to be mean spirited at times.Parking is a disaster. Unrealistic expectation and poor coordination of mandatory inservices and meetings.
