Pros

I started working for VIA in May 2025. I've worked for multiple Hospice Agencies in 25 years, and I'm happy I am finishing my career here. Not only do I feel respected for what I do, but like I have a 2nd family. Work expectations are fair and management is right there helping when there is a potential crisis. I work Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, no weekends, no call, unless you want to volunteer for extra time. It's a great place to by a part of when comparing to the others I've been employed by. And it's the first company I've ever worked for that said I was hired due to growth, not because someone left. So check us out!

Pros

None. Waste of years of life and career spent here.

Cons

Poor work life balance. Toxic culture. Narcissistic yet undereducated leadership team (CEO and COO) who know absolutely nothing about quality patient care nor have any experience with patient care. Non-adherent to core values or organization mission. Quantity over quality. Unappreciative to employees hard work, dedication, years of service, and patient care knowledge. Culture that thrives on devaluing and belittling as a coping mechanisms for their underlying internal incompetencies.

This company has their act together! They never missed a beat during the screening and interview process. Now that I am on board, I can tell they truly do what they say they will do. Most importantly, they put the patient FIRST. You will LOVE the culture at Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region. Come join us!
