Pros

We do get paid for our work. Freedom of working mostly independently and with wonderful families and patients are always a blessing. Variety of patients with various medical, social, spiritual needs.

Cons

Low pay and pay-raises are not, if ever, given due to Pay-Freezes lasting years. CEO gets a bonus of 1.4 million dollars bonus each year every year. Strong micro-management and administration is constantly changing. Rules and regulations are constantly changed with each new administrative hire. Limited advancement except out of Ohio area. Often violations of Medicare law with patients who are not qualified are admitted.

Pros

see as many pts in one day.no less than 22 per week.Don't do overtime. When pts. come on service,if they complain, don't ask management to help you out,"it's your fault".make it a prioirty see new pts. ICC,ICA.but your routine, you reschedule them ,although you already called and have an appt.

Cons

no pay raises.hha got .30cents after raise hold and nurses no raises.Morale is way down, excellent field staff leaving weekly from all disciplines.Everyone overworked and underpaid and not listened to.Definitely a separate tier form field to ofice and management. There should be one management person to manage admitted pts. anxiety/ initial complaints re: what they signed up for. It's not responsibility of field staff to answer the questions and sit 1:1 for hours of explanations of Vitas program constitutes.Where is the management to correct these facts, errors and mislead assumptions? The field personnel (IDT) is not responsible for this
