Frequent changes to the organization due to shift in ownership, leadership, and other changes often invoked by the board can make it challenging to stay rooted in a path or discipline. Business process and organizational top-heaviness results in overcomplicated process, workflows, and bureaucratic stress. Too many internal initiatives that support upper-management MBO attainment can conflict with chartered / individual objectives. Vertical movement is more attainable through role changes than same-role promotions. RSU grants typically do not trickle down below Director-level staff.
