Pros

Very welcoming and didn't hesitate to take the time to teach me the industry and company. I was employed as an intern.

Cons

No effective communication strategy set up, ultimately leading to the stone production line being shut down at the plant I worked at.

Pros

1. Solid Company been around for many years most likely will be around for many more to come. 2. Health compensation package is decent for the industry. 3. Offers gain share bonus program quarterly based on plant performance. 4. Free uniform requisitions 2-3 times a year. 5. You get 3 breaks a day?

Cons

1. Management completely out of touch with employees 2. Pay substandard at best compared to industry standard with a very low top out wage. 3. Company is extremely disorganized. 4. Machinery in many of the plants 50+ years old. 5. Company's Lean management program is a disaster poorly implemented and often adds much undue stress to employees. 6. Claims to promote from within the company but often hires outside the company for open positions leaving little or no chance for advancement within the company.
