not comparable to maga tech companies but in Canada the pay is ok, some nice benefits as well.

Cons

Constant layoff, two layoffs during my short tenure here already, no, it basically takes loyalty and dedication off the table. I thought the most productive member of my team will get a promotion yet got thrown off the bus.

Had an amazing 4 years at VTS, although prior to COVID, layoffs, etc. Given lots of responsibility to build important features and truly understand the customers we were building for. The team was highly skilled and motivated to improve.

Cons

In the last few years seems that there's been multiple rounds of layoffs of hundreds of employees.
