I must express my concerns regarding the company. Unfortunately, they seem to have created a culture of underpaying their employees while simultaneously demanding perfection. I have noticed that they often hire managers who need more credible experience in their assigned department. In addition, some managers do not have a solid understanding of the products they oversee or choose not to acquire such knowledge. Seeing someone in this role and having less product knowledge than an entry-level is deeply concerning. Despite this, direct reports cannot provide managerial feedback and are frequently subjected to departmental changes.
I have had numerous managers since starting at this company, so many that I have lost count. The company has been experiencing a high attrition rate, even before laying off employees throughout the year. The remaining ones had to hope that company loyalty and "meeting expectations" would be enough. Regrettably, it seems the company has been going in the wrong direction for some time now. I hope the remaining employees are treated with better kindness and fairness.
