Cons
The company values number of individual bookings over the sum of the sales or the amount of the commissions earned. So one agent can have a few high dollar sales yielding 100,000 in bookings yet fail to meet the required average sales per day metric ultimately loosing their job and another agent can have several bottom dollar bookings totaling 20,000 and be rewarded because it took 15 bookings to get to the 20,000. The company looses 80,000 is bookings and commissions just to appease the sales per day metric. Agents step on other agents toes consistently. It's a free for all with the inbound calls. If the customer doesn't book with you on the first call and another agent answers the next time they call in, you loose the sale no matter the phase of the sale the booking was in or the number of hours/days/even weeks of work documented to finding the perfect cruise/cabin at the perfect price. Management does not care, never overturns a booking rightfully because it is all the same for them. Even worse, agents are heavily encouraged not to work through lunch or answer calls/emails on their days off because they have an entire department (the CCS department) in place & available to assist the agents customers with bookings, issues and emergency situations. BUT, every time they do assist, the agent is penalized each time leading to lost bonuses and failure to meet the required metrics. Who puts a department in place to support its agents and then penalizes them when its used?
