Pros

It is a great mountain with a terrific lift system. The town is well designed for destination guests. Easy access to Denver.

Cons

This company has no real interest in the employees. Staff turn over is a huge constant problem. Pay is so low it creates an unsustainable existance living in the Valley. Middle management is afraid to speak out for the front line employees. If you make waves in Vail Resorts you lose your job. The company CEO is completely out of touch with the community and the employees- focused mainly on stock price and quarterlies- spends all his time in private clubs. The mountain is so overcrowded it is dangerous. Parking is expensive. Food is expensive. Employee benefits are constantly being eroded.

Pros

As with all companies right now, they are cutting back on benefits. The insurance is adequate and reasonably priced.

Cons

Micromanagement to the extent of chaos. Nickel and diming customers.
