Pros

- Acceptable place to work if you are right out of school and have absolutely no experience - If you are wiling to work extremely hard (between 8:30am to 7pm/ 8pm/ 9pm at night) they are willing to give you opportunities to "graduate" from doing intern-related tasks to to doing more architecture related tasks - Their file system is very organized - My advice is to try to learn what you can while you work there, and try to find a Project Manager who is willing to spend time to teach/ guide you. If you cannot find anyone who is willing to mentor you, my advice is to look for a new job. There are better places to work at.

Cons

- Project Managers are micromanagers - Long hours - Huge turnover rate. It is a revolving door there. - Depending on whether you choose the Project Management Path or Design Path, you are eventually pigeon-holed.

Pros

Principal architect is understanding. It is an architecture firm.

Cons

Micro management central, no head phone policy, Very high school clickish groups, upper management doesn’t really understand drafting times nor scheduling, no separation of home work life, upper management doesn’t open to new ideas and methods, not an AutoCAD/Revit based firm
