Complex, creative fast paced projects

Pros

Over the years where I have been at this firm I have been and continue to be involved in a multitude of interesting, high quality projects, most of it have been build successfully. It has been extremely rewarding to see all these projects come tu fruition and enjoy the positive feedback from our clients. Our projects have amongst the highest cost per SF in the construction industry and therefore require and absolute attention to detail which provides a constant challenge. I am working out construction details that are unique and require tremendous expertise and collaboration with a group of extremely talented professionals and consultants. We don't really do run of the mill architecture. We continue to push the boundaries of how to build without any room to not execute perfectly given the clients for whom we work that are amongst the most successful brands in the world and always expect perfection.

Cons

Sometimes work doesn't seem to end. Need to manage client expectations to reconcile with the reality of the construction world.

Legitimate interior design retail experience but cut throat owners

Pros

you could work on the high-end retail jobs with the low budget if you are an architect their fees are a joke to you and you have to work over time

Cons

I quite and gave my two months notice and they didn't even say goodbye to me when I left. The principals have an attitude and unprofessional. they layed off half of their team with nothing and they are a type of firm that they hire and fire people. so if you are pay check to pay check never work here. It's too risky and there's no royalty to the employees. you could work 60 hrs a week and get layed off the next day. This is the true insider information. I know the owner would ask one of the employees to post a five star review after my review. don't trust them.

We mentor and train each team member and give adequate opportunities to further build upon their current position and career. We offer flexibility when needed and support the individual needs of each team member to ensure the best quality of work can be completed. We encourage further development and promote from within for team members looking to take the next step in their career, looking to further challenge themselves. For those individuals who are not performing to the level expected we give adequate resources to build upon.
