A Company that truly does NOT care

Pros

I was able to maintain a job throughout the pandemic

Cons

I would be told to do more audits. Even though my residents were really easy going and the simple "violations" weren't worth stirring up the nest. Then when new residents moved it and major violations were happening instead of standing up for me, they told me to stop placing violations and just do what I'm told. Then they cut all of our paid time off, and any benefits at all and then changed the hours without discussing if the new hours were even doable for me. I have worked since March 2020 and missed two days both times with 30 days notice!

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts about your time at Valet Living. I’m sorry you didn’t have a great experience during your time here. Managing client and resident relationships can be challenging and there may be times where we use discretion in collection practices that may fall outside of our standard guidelines. In regards to your comments on paid time off/benefits, we have not made any changes to the programs offered to our part-time associates. Thanks again for taking the time to leave this review and we wish you the best in your career. If there is any additional feedback you would like to share with us, please send me an email to antonio.fiorentino@valetliving.com

Pros

The trash valet position is part time work, and is about 2 hours per evening. We don’t work Fri or Sat, and you basically get paid to work out! I walk about 2 miles per evening, climb over 20 flights of stairs. This is the type of job you have to make work for situation, as it is only a couple hours per evening. Couple this with a daytime job and it works out great. Or even a fulltime student who just wants a little extra spending money.

Cons

That’s a matter of perspective I guess. Wear and tear on your own vehicle, you’ll get sweaty and dirty sometimes, but if you don’t mind that, then it’s a win.

No personal life time

Pros

Work from Home 50% of time, work truck, phone, and computer provided

Cons

Split schedule work life. Corporate works regular hours and expects their managers to work in the a.m. then be off (but you really are never off) until 7 p.m. until 1/2 in the morning depending on situations that come up. You truly only have one day off a week. You have two half days Sunday night and Friday morning.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I’m sorry you didn’t have a great experience during your time here. Our District Managers have a challenging job and it’s true that working a split shift scheduled isn’t for everyone. The split shift allows us to provide proper support to both our clients (daytime) and employees (during collection in the evening) and when managed properly, affords each District Manager the right amount of work/life balance. It is true that there are circumstances that may require additional hours, which is not uncommon in any management level position. We continue to work on getting better in this area, with introducing the Lead Service Valet position in many of our markets as one example to help alleviate some of the tasks that would normally fall to the District Manager. Thank you again for taking the time to leave this review and we wish you the best in your career.
