Pros

They really care about their employees and show it by 1) hosting a lot of events 2) having good benefits that they always seem to add to/improve 3) making management available and interested in each employee.

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind

Pros

You get support from the entire team when starting out. I meet with my boss three times a week so he can make sure that I have everything that I need to be successful at my job. I work 80% telework and one day on site, but I don't feel isolated due to the support that I get from the team. I came from a company with 20,000 employees and Valiant has nearly identical benefits and a much better culture. Typically you pay a price (lower benefits or salary) for being part of a small company, but not here.

Cons

I don't have any complaints. The only thing that may be a con is that PTO accrual rate is low at first, however the rate ramps up quickly after one year. If you also account for the full week of paid time on annually (i.e.; paid training), then the PTO policy is in line with or ahead of other tech companies.

Pros

I've worked for Valiant less than a year, but so far I've witnessed a caring CEO who knows how to nurture relationships with our clients and who also cares about his employees and their families. He holds employee events several times a year (e.g., Nationals or Wizards games, bowling events, family picnic, etc). All events I've attended have been fun and they work to build camaraderie with one another since many of us are dispersed around the DC metro area and other locations throughout the US.

Cons

Because of the dispersed workforce, Valiant has to work extra hard on employee care. That's my take. If employees don't participate in the after work functions, it could be hard for them to feel a part of the team.
