Pros

If you like companies that are fast paced, always changing, and thrive on sales growth, this could be a great fit. Loved the people!

Cons

If you want a very people-focused culture, this may not be it. The leaders care about people but their goals are about profits and driving revenue. Not a bad thing - just good to know.

Exciting Company with Fun Culture

Pros

The Tampa office is in a central and convenient location and the office environment is upbeat and fun. The office's snack and drink offerings are a nice plus, as well as 1-2x weekly lunches and other occasional treats. The health benefits are very good and offered at a reasonable cost, the company gives out nice swag to newcomers, and has some fun parties and hockey game outings for employees. We also have room to advance if we perform well, and Validity has started offering some cool training programs to those who are interested in taking part. Overall, there's a lot of great things about Validity that other reviews fail to mention.

Cons

Everybody is visible and can make a difference, but that also means there's nowhere to hide if you aren't meeting expectations. Targets and training are clear and leaders support us in getting better, but you have to pull your weight to stick around and grow. If you consider that a con, then you might not be happy at this company. Also, because of growth, job functions don't stay the same forever. While this doesn't bother me, some people don't like that and want things to never change (which doesn't happen anywhere, by the way). If you roll with the punches and evolution of the company, you get to learn new things and build your resume.

Thank you for the feedback! We appreciate your advice to add more town-hall style meetings and team member forums, which we will try to add in 2020. We agree that in a smaller, growing company like Validity, every team member's work is seen and there are no places to hide out for those who don't perform or who aren't actively engaged. Validity chose "All In" as its theme for 2020 for a reason--commitment from every team member is what drives our collective success and helps us feel like we're a part of something bigger than just us and our day-to-day tasks. Keep sharing that feedback with us as we move through the year!
