Large enough company your voice isn’t heard. No local branches anymore. Have to rely on Regional distribution centers for inventory/shipments If you’re not in management, your opinion doesn’t matter The company works in segments, not geographical territories. This allows for multiple bosses and multiple meeting to go over the same corporate policies/announcements over and over. They are great at talking about what solutions they can implement, but actually putting them in place is a different story. There is no direct leadership, this company is the definition of too many chiefs, not enough Indians. If you are looking to go into sales, check how many have retired in that position….very few (I know of 3 in my 15+ years). Once you start making a certain amount, they’ll find a reason to replace you. I had some great bosses over the years, but my last one was as fake as they come. He would be Mr. Vallen to all the higher ups, and completely opposite to everyone else…. Too many cons to list, beware if you’re looking for a long term job, if you’re not in the inner circle, you’re easily replaced.
