Pros

Tuition assistance if you are full time going to college. Dental and heath benefits are satisfactory. Each branch is different so satisfaction at my branch will not translate to all branches.

Cons

Sometime upper management changes their mind on things quickly after telling everyone. There seems too many emails retracting previous emails.

Pros

It was a friendly community. Management was always willing to help employees during busy times or times of confusion. Its great to constantly see new faces (customers). Its also a great way to keep your mind at work with numbers.

Cons

Work at Valley national bank as a teller can get very tedious and boring at times. You must sit at your station at all times. During slow days, it is very difficult to pass time since you must maintain a professional image at all times in case a customer walks in. (no music players)
