Pros

The Hospital is amazing. The patient care top notch. The benefits are fabulous. The employees truly care.

Cons

The employees are not appropriately rewarded for the contributions they make. Compensation is below standard. Bonuses for the staff level employee are based on patient satisfaction scores that are impossible to reach when the hospital is as busy as it is. Work life balance posture is anti quated. Some of the leaders in business support, Human Resources etc are complacent, have been there too long and turn a blind eye towards issues. A very Stepford Wives like environment. Talented high performers are quickly turned off and leave. There is no opportunity for advancement. Those who have been in positions of leadership for decades refuse to mentor for fear they will be replaced.
