Pros

The organisation is huge which allow individual to learn which be over whelming. Chances of moving across different business unit if there is a potential.

Cons

Low or no profit due to the volatile of the oil market. Drastic cost cutting measure in which certain decison making could not be execute or become sudden death. The industry is unstable and their turnover rate with new employees is high. Pay is not in line with other competitor & with very little or no increment. Morale of the staff is low.

Pros

They really tend to keep the employees happy. During the downturn, most people were offered furlough instead of laying them off. Offer 9/80 work schedule (summer 2017), excellent pay where you don't need to negotiate, if you come from experience oil and gas company, you can add A LOT of value to old process in place.

Cons

Not really con, but this company feel like way behind in lean management. But I turn this into a positive where I bring my experience and apply easily.
