Some great teammates, generally good workflow, and flexible hours.

Cons

Corporate structure often oversteps, don't care much about morale (or at least don't take steps to improve anything), always quick to blame the wrong people and make structural changes if things go wrong, turn to penny pinching real quick.

Terrible communication skills and management from "leadership" here. Will give you no valid reason for letting you go (no prior feedback or guidance, will just fire you out of the blue).

All content depends on permalancers, who do not get benefits and have to work 40+ hrs per week; senior leadership is all men except for HR; no support for managers or leaders; plagiarism is accepted; zero understanding of journalistic standards and best practices; constant gaslighting from senior leadership; unclear expectations
