Pros

I worked alongside some excellent providers and support staff.

Cons

The weakest local and corporate leadership I've ever encountered. Punitive action is taken if you try to professionally discuss your concerns (clinical or otherwise) with local leadership staff as well as corporate and in-between. I brought patient care concerns to my direct leadership and utilized the in-house Valor workflow but I was not acknowledged in any meaningful way; all the way to the to the corporate level. I left with severe patient care concerns that I hope they address but I was not able to provide the best care I was capable of to my Veterans. CEO aware and has done nothing. This company awarded me for embodying its values but did not respect me enough to actually consider my subject matter expertise when it was being used in the spirit of those same values! I know these are strong words but unfortunately, this is my experience. I'm sure it can't be that bad for most providers.

Pros

Decent pay, fair benefits, no call

Cons

Absolutely zero work life balance. No leadership. Horrible morale. High turnover. Long, long hours and no one cares that you are working yourself to death. Just keep doing more with less to fill the pockets of the company!

Pros

I love my coworkers, I love helping vets.

Cons

The upper management outright lies about staffing and just does not hire-currently working 2 jobs and if someone takes a vacation, I also do lab and answer phones. Another RN is carrying 3 other teams. If anyone in the clinics calls out or gets ill-whoever is there is stuck doing 5 jobs. Then you get a notification stating that you're behind on your work. There is absolutely no leadership-they just care about having all the I's dotted and T's crossed, Vets are not getting their needs met unfortunately. I am all for teamwork but, I did not go to nursing school to answer phones and do labs on a regular basis. As far as I know-all the clinics are short staffed.
