I was thrilled when I was selected during campus placements in 2022 for the role of Associate Software Developer at Valtech, with a joining date set for August 1st, 2023. It felt like a dream come true. However, my excitement turned to disappointment when, in June 2023, Valtech informed me via email that my job offer had been postponed to August 5th, 2024. Recently, I received another email stating that my offer has been postponed indefinitely. This sudden and unexpected change has left me and several other candidates, who were eagerly waiting to start our professional journeys, in a difficult position. The placement season at our college has concluded, and unfortunately, no additional companies are visiting for recruitment. The lack of communication and transparency from Valtech has been incredibly disheartening. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise in the corporate world, but the way this situation has been handled feels like we've been left in the lurch. As young professionals, we trusted companies like Valtech to provide us with opportunities and a stable future. This delay has left many of us jobless, uncertain about our career paths, and facing financial challenges.
