Pros

The ability to experience a truly global environment is often touted as a company strength but in Valtech's case I have to say this is a reality; it is actually their core strength. The practical ability to leverage skill sets across the globe is a powerful tool indeed. The company is structured around that concept and for once it delivers.

Pros

Stimulating project opportunities, never predictable, challenging as you get thrown into the deep end constantly, some great experienced colleagues who act as unofficial mentors for younger consultants, are quite caring/tolerant if you have family issues that require attention. Most people are paid very well.

Cons

Unsupportive senior management, progression through the company happens but there is no clear process, you cannot guarantee you will be working in a location you like. If you're not a bit aggressive about it, you may be underappreciated and underpaid. High turnover of staff
