      Some great colleagues and leaders still there, but disorganization persists

      Some amazing colleagues, supportive & insightful leaders, and sometimes interesting projects.

      Cons

      The company has grown through acquisition, leading to a lot of restructuring, gaps, and disorganization—this is something leadership was addressing, but at a much slower pace than they demanded from us as consultants. One unsurprising component of their strategy was/is to incorporate more near-shore consultants to lower costs of client engagements, which makes business sense but is not aligned to my personal interests.

      Pros

      Great people on your level to work with doing the best they can of a bad situation.

      Cons

      CEO has no vision apart from 'use AI' and consolidate and zero long term planning. Reduced head count because we were 12% profitable and not 15%. Highly likely Valtech will want to sell the UK branch onto an even larger consultancy.
