Great place to work and a good place for children to learn

Cons

Too much gossip and some people make it hard to work here, but nevertheless it is a good place to work.

Pros

There is definite job security. In 6 years I was never actually evaluated. Teachers and administrators do as they please.

Cons

The culture lures subpar teachers and administrators who stay because they would not last elsewhere. The Board refuses to listen to the community of parents who want change. Enrollment is dwindling as more kids are moving to charter schools for the opportunity of real education. Students have been allowed to behave as they please without any real discipline for over a decade. Constant fights, drugs, sex between students and very little academic desire.
