      Good foundational skill development and you learn financial skills which are valuable for all aspects of life.

      Cons

      Focus is on younger talent and once you hit 40 - the paths of opportunity dry-up.

      Pros

      Working at Vanguard is predictable - you know what to expect with regard to PTO, bonuses and performance. The company does a great job at enforcing policies which ensure your work environment is stable.

      Cons

      As you "move up the ladder," the lines become very blurred between work and home life. Vanguard expects you work hard for your money - this includes working long hours. It's more about quantity over quality unless you get the right leader.. which is rarely the case.
