      Metrics, Immaturity and Dictators galore

      Pros

      -good technology but it is antiquated and difficult to consume by end users -great passion from c-level but can be blinding at times - drink the kool aid -good peer level people to work with

      Cons

      Waste a ton of time chasing archaic metrics from 2008 when the company was a start up but still has in place today even though not relevant nor productive. Middle and VP level management are a joke at best, adequate to manage a middle school girls softball team but not IT Sales professionals with morals. When you leave the message will be "we wanted to fire him anyway" regardless of what was produced in territory. Inability to recognize inefficiencies and own fault which leads to a excessive high turnover rate.

      Strong core platform that solves a key problem in data security (provided the repositories are supported)

      Cons

      Poor execution of GTM strategy Constant micromanagement at all levels Priority placed on activity and quantity as opposed to quality and outcomes Woeful investment in DAC - company not seeing ROI from that acquisition Huge amount of employee churn (specifically sales function) Overly complex commission plan that emphasises penalisation instead of reward Constant scrutiny on T&E - always looking to penny pinch. Executive leadership set in their ways and detached from reality on the ground Misaligned product and market/price expectations - can be in the top 3 most expensive tech stack investments for customers. The cost does not match outcomes and value delivered Poor time to value of core platform and requires constant customer maintenance Company seems to be trying to reinvent themselves and could do better to cover broader data repositories as losing edge to competitors.
