The company culture is supportive, innovative, and empowering, and the management team is committed to transparency, growth, and development of its employees. Leadership has been dedicated to closing gaps and encouraging collaboration and teamwork across all departments. The industry challenges we strive to create solutions for are complex, new, and challenging, but also incredibly rewarding, as we see our innovations come to life and make a real impact on our customers' businesses. Vecna Robotics is ever-improving and no-doubt the leader in this space. It's exciting to be part of a company that is on the forefront of technological advancement and helping shape the future of logistics and supply chain operations. Overall, I would highly recommend Vecna Robotics as a great place to work for anyone who is passionate about technology, innovation, and seeking a supportive community to foster your skills and career journey. Additionally, the compensation and benefits package are competitive and align with the company's dedication to providing a high-quality work environment for their employees.

Cons

Vecna Robotics has weathered many of the same challenges that faced more mature companies over the past few years. As many employees of start-ups will report, the ability to be flexible and stay positive is key. Employees are sometimes expected to pivot plans and take on responsibilities outside of their job description. While this can be an opportunity for growth and development, it can also be overwhelming at times. Thankfully, the community at Vecna is understanding, supportive and collaborative. The people I work with are smart, talented, encouraging, and passionate about what they do. While it's not always easy, I feel that the challenges of working at a start-up have made me a more resilient and adaptable employee.

Lively workplace with great culture and benefits!

Pros

Working at Vecna Robotics has been an incredibly rewarding experience. The company culture is great and senior management really go above and beyond to create a lively, communicative workplace environment based on equity and mutual respect. I can't say enough good things about the team here at Vecna- I've always felt respected and supported by my manager, I learn something new from my coworkers every day, and I'm really proud of the work that my team does. It's safe to take a risk here and all issues are approached from a "mutual problem solving" standpoint. Company-wide team building events like barbecues, karaoke, and trivia night are common (and optional), although they're usually really fun and the majority of the company attends them. Ultimately, it's an inclusive environment that values employees and always recognizes small contributions to the company's larger successes. The company has grown significantly in the past few years with new customer deployments and expansions at existing customers across North America, but they've generally been able to retain the core values and culture of innovation established at the company's inception. The benefits are also some of the best I've seen in the industry, which definitely doesn't hurt!

Cons

Being in the robotics/automation space, industry trends and strategies often change quickly and without much notice. I could see how that would be a source of stress for some personality types, although there are always people around to guide you through new ideas/goals if you need it. It can definitely be a bit of a "work hard, play hard" environment.
