      Not a good company to grow in

      Excitement about plans and the achievable

      Cons

      No support to get you to your plan or no help to achieve your goals. It had been a terrible experience to hear the talk, but not seeing a realistic support mechanism to get you to your goals. You ask for help, they say they'd help. And they don't. The leadership doesn't understand certain verticals. They think sales is sales, leaving them novice in some speciality industries. They try to make goal without listening to people and they fail. And they lay people off for their mistakes. Text book amateur software company management attribute.

There is a well-documented process for managing performance at Vector Solutions which includes receiving the training and coaching required to increase or enhance performance. We have a highly competent management team that has both sales and industry specific knowledge and experience, and our 24-year track record speaks for itself. Our people are our greatest asset, and our mission is to serve the everyday heroes that make us safer.

      Pros

      Vector delivers products that ensure our public safety heroes are able to come home safe at the end of the day. It’s clear that this mission is what keeps this leadership team driving forward.

      Cons

      There have been some acquisitions and team restructuring over the last few years, and this has caused some confusion and disparity. This is being improved greatly as wrinkles are ironed out, however.
