      Great leadership, tons of growth opportunity with mission critical products

      Pros

      -company services industries where your work will make a real difference in peoples lives. Hard to understand a bit about the impact the products have from the company website - new exec team, transparent and capable - collaborative work environment, not a lot of finger pointing

      Cons

      - processes are a bit immature as there were several smaller companies that came together - prioritization is a challenge

      Big changes

      Pros

      Over the last 6 - 12 months there have been major changes, for the better. A new CEO was brought in, and he has hired an almost entirely new management team. The new team is transparent with employees, both good and bad. There were a lot of challenges with the business that previous leadership ignored, and things are now being addressed -- a real focus on product and content, marketing, employee engagement, employee surveys, benefit increases, etc. While everything isn't perfect by any means, Vector is trending in the right direction.

      Cons

      There has been lots of changes, although necessary.

      Pros

      Sharing of information from ELT down is more open than previous employers - our CEO encourages and is receptive to feedback at all levels. Company conducts anymous employee satisfaction surveys and quickly acts to areas of concern. Family leave is now well above industry standard for a company of our size. Leaders are empowered to act and make decisions.

      Cons

      We do more with less which can lead to more hours.
