Thank you for sharing your feedback. While we're glad you appreciated aspects like the hybrid work schedule and found our executive team approachable, we're sorry to hear that your overall experience didn’t reflect the culture we strive to build at Vector Solutions. We take concerns around management, role clarity, and fairness seriously. Our goal is to ensure that every employee feels supported, understands their role, and has equal access to opportunities—aligned with our core values of Inclusiveness, Teamwork, and Outcome Oriented. We’re continually working to improve leadership consistency and transparency across teams, and we rely on tools like our engagement and pulse surveys to surface issues and drive meaningful changes. Feedback like yours helps us better understand where we still have room to grow. Thank you again for your time at Vector, and we wish you all the best in your next chapter.

Pros

Unlimited PTO, mostly remote work

Cons

Pay is not very competitive, almost all development work is outsourced, CTO hires friends in senior roles and that is the clique. In the group? no problem. Out of the group? Then you know nothing and are worthless. Software development processes are tedious and not productive to building great things, but if you like checking a lot of boxes on a lot of forms with a lot of approvals you will like it. I work with the developers daily and most of the day is about looking good in my upcoming meeting by completing a certain number of tickets big or small, or asking the lead dev to help out because the team can't get it done.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and for your long tenure with Vector Solutions. We’re glad to hear that you appreciate the flexibility of remote work and unlimited PTO, which are part of our commitment to supporting work-life balance. That said, the concerns you’ve raised around culture, fairness in leadership, and development practices are important, and we take them seriously. At Vector, our values—especially Inclusiveness, Teamwork, and Curiosity—call us to create an environment where every team member feels respected, heard, and empowered to grow. We recognize that how work gets done—from software development processes to collaboration norms—has a major impact on employee experience and innovation. We’re actively working to improve cross-functional engagement and process efficiency while encouraging feedback through regular engagement and pulse surveys. That input helps us identify and address areas where our culture and systems may not be serving our people as they should. Thank you again for the work you do and for sharing your perspective. We remain committed to building a more connected and empowering environment for every team member.

Pros

- Fully Remote - They used to do Lunch & Learns when I first started - Laptop provided was of higher quality

Cons

- No training/onboarding program whatsoever - No offline meetups, summits, nor employee gatherings - Departments exist in silos; you will never see/talk to employees from other areas - Support roles were fully outsourced to staffing agencies in the Philippines/Colombia - Employees are extremely cliquey and gatekeep as much useful knowledge as possible - Sales team members deliver false promises and enhancement request lies to sell customers - Middle Management prevents any work from actually being done; they've all mastered "corpo speak" and provide next to nothing in terms of real work completed. - Directors are faceless corproate executives you will never see nor hear from, but will consistently demand proof that your team deserves to remain employed.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. While we’re sorry to hear your time at Vector Solutions didn’t meet your expectations, we genuinely appreciate the feedback and your years of contribution. We’d like to clarify a few points around onboarding and connection. All new hires—regardless of location—are invited to participate in our robust, in-person onboarding program held at our Tampa office. This experience is designed to help new team members build relationships, gain context across departments, and feel supported as they begin their journey at Vector. We also support a hybrid workplace model. Team members who live near one of our office locations are always welcome to work from the office, collaborate in person, or attend team events and meetings. Building community, whether virtually or in person, remains a priority—and we continue to look for new ways to foster cross-functional collaboration in line with our values of Teamwork and Inclusiveness. We’re also focused on strengthening our knowledge-sharing practices and improving role clarity. Through tools like engagement and pulse surveys, we listen closely to employee feedback and use it to guide where and how we need to grow. Thank you again for your time at Vector. We wish you the very best in your next chapter.
