Pros

*Fantastic product that customers love *World class technical support for customers *Ability to get equity in the company *Ability to take paid time off for volunteering

Cons

*Both the Alpharetta and Phoenix sales offices have an oppressive and melancholy feeling. *Little culture of collaboration, everyone is very siloed . *Stuck with some old processes with too much reliance on trying to develop solutions internally vs using best of breed technologies * Many ex-Computer Associates employees hired with checkered pasts *Insular executive management mostly hired from same company with little contact with line level employees *Ability to get equity not open to everyone

Pros

Used to be great - felt like a startup, even with initial growth Compensation has gotten much better in the past couple years Low-stress for the most part

Cons

Lack of organizational structure - new positions materialize on an "as-needed" basis; sometimes due process of interviews is skipped entirely Fast growth but few opportunities to advance a carreer

Pros

The Veeam team is really close, and truly is like a family. Everyone jokes around with each other, mistakes are laughed at and looked to as learning opportunities. Everyone here has a very strong and unique personality, and the interactions here are priceless. The company as a whole is going through a lot of transition, which was a little intimidating when I first showed up, but in reality, it just means that there will be more opportunity for those who are loyal. The product is unbeatable, and can't be replicated, and the organization's structure is very well thought out. I've worked for companies where I feel like I am competing with team members, but here, everyone wants everyone to succeed. This is a fast-paced job, but I feel like that is expected in this industry. I'd rather be busy than bored any day.

Cons

I see these as positives, but if you aren't used to an environment that is fast-paced and constantly changing, then this place isn't for you. There has been a lot of speculation of Veeam being bought out, which again could be interpreted as a con, but in reality, if you work here and Veeam gets bought out by a bigger named company, it would boost your resume if anything.
