      Salary Stock Free Lunch I am writing this sentence to be able to save review. Nothing else is +ve @ Veeva.

      Cons

      Office Politics Do the right thing (for your boss) Racism Favoritism If you join, be very careful of the people who are nice on your face. They will be the one who will backstab you. Bosses sitting in CA office rely on handful of people from OH office. If you don't have skills, that's fine. But you MUST be expert in politics to survive at Veeva.

      Friendly working environment but top management needs to improve

      Pros

      Good company outlook, stock price is doing well, free lunch, unlimited PTO. Overall, friendly work culture and good work life balance in you're in the right team.

      Cons

      Management only cares about stock price and profit. No discretionary spending and leadership believes as long as the stock price keeps going up, people should be happy. Many mid and senior level managers came from same companies and if you're not part of the circle, there is very little opportunity to progress. The CEO is a micro manager, he still approves most of the new hires. He doesn't care whether employees are happy or not, his view is, if people are not happy or doesn't agree with him, they can leave.

      Quality People and Meaningful Mission

      Pros

      -Little to no politics -Quality team of engineers -CEO is hands-on -Mission primarily serves to help people -Creative freedom is encouraged -I haven't had to buy groceries in four months (breakfast, lunch and packed dinners are great) -Office space and cafeteria are incredibly nice -People seem to genuinely care throughout the organization -Stock continues to perform well and 2017 guidance is encouraging -I enjoy coming to work everyday and there is a lot to be said for that

      Cons

      -Average base pay and benefits -Hiring process is often arduous -Limited brand awareness outside of niche space
