-lot of work pressure -mid level managers are absolutely worst, they run the team according to the convenience of their favorite team member. Schedules, work load, kind of work, all is decided by the one employee and manager often tries to make the newer/junior employees clean up the mess their favorite employee created and then barks at you constantly bugging you and then blaming the missed deadline on you - senior employees take no ownership of what they work on, can often be seen blaming things and actually calling out the junior employees during meetings/status checks even if they mostly worked on that product -senior management has no interest in finding out how the employees are doing under their so called mid level "manager" who has no clue about the product, the team or how things are done. From the level of un-professionalism, one can only deduce that the mid level manager got hired because of contacts in the company from before

Although working globally this is very much a US company with sometimes questionable business ethics and a very ruthless streak (it's a policy to not recruit from countries with strong labor laws for example and the cost of tribunals/payoffs is seen as cheaper than investing in HR). A bit of a political atmosphere if you do well and top down rule from the US. Little work life balance.
