Pros

Mainly the people and generally a lot of common sense. For example I do believe I can talk to my manger about almost anything and I know they will listen and help me if they can. People are professional and try to do the right thing.

Cons

Maybe in some case, the technology stack could be limited, in particular if you are working on applications (and not platform).

A Hot Mess

- Met some really kind people - The company mission is honorable, easy to get behind - Decent benefits

Cons

The average lifespan of a product marketer in this role is SEVEN MONTHS. This marketing org is a mess. There are some kind people on the team, but management from the middle to senior levels is toxic. As an associate, you can expect to do work that's years above your experience level with NO support. It's unclear to me what managers actually do, other than criticize and pass their work onto their reports. There's constant disagreement between management, and your learning opportunities are quite limited. If you think this is unfounded, in my time at Veeva I saw the product marketing and field marketing teams turnover almost 100%, and was told that retention is their #1 threat.. At a company that should have bigger fish to fry.
