Pros

Some benefits are good. Some managers are good, The tenure of the employee's are good.

Cons

From hearing from long time coworkers (myself being there a good many years) The company has gone down hill. they are losing a lot of long term employees. They have no consideration for any opinion of both short and long term people. They ask for loyalty but do not respect that to people in return. Sad to see a once great company sink so low to this level.

Pros

There are good people there and they produce a useable product, but the more high tech they try to get, the more they are out of their league.

Cons

They want to play in the big leagues, and rely on name recognition, but they will not invest in upgrading their machinery or engineering support. They use machinery to make the product that is over 50 years old and constantly breaking down and cannot produce a consistent product.

Pros

Way back when, the pay and benefits were pretty good. People who were on the same level as you were great to work with.

Cons

Ok, so it has been awhile since I worked there, but I gave them 17 years of hard work. The factory is not a place for anyone over 55 and those not physically fit. It can be pretty tough. Office jobs are only for those who like a good game of politics and back stabbing. And there was a definitive line between the office and the factory - “us or them”. Sad really. I worked both sides of the wall and never could understand it. After I was let go for lack of work, I heard that many of the employees that had worked there for 10 or more years (aka vested employees) “disappeared”. New employees were not eligible for the pension benefit. So the more hard working and talented people were gone. What was left, was…. I’ll let you fill in the blanks.
