Where to begin? If you have been working at Velir for longer than 5 years, you may not resonate with much of this. That's because folx who have tenure at velir are treated wildly differently than newer staff. And the tenured staff treat the new people differently too. If you work there long enough, you'll start to feel like you're in high school with all the cliquiness. Leadership does not care about how you're doing. They only care if you match their 100% billable target. 100%!! You read that right. Echoing a few of these other reviews, if you make one or two mistakes, you'll be met with "agency life is not for everyone" instead of mentorship or support on how to meet your goals. The recent merger with brooklyn data co was a disaster, and velir were so rude and uncooperative with us when we joined. I've never worked somewhere with a less caring and supportive culture. RUN - don't walk - away from any possible opportunities here!

Managers are not always transparent and feedback process is not ideal. They say they care about mental health but they don't. Protected class under disability means nothing to them. Exit interviews are awful and insulting, they will ask you to sign a severance contract to wave any type of charges, complaints, claims, liabilities, obligations.
