Pros

I met a few good people while working at Velociti, but unfortunately, the red flags were evident from day one. The toxic culture is so ingrained that they don’t even try to hide it—it’s simply the norm.

Cons

Where do I even begin? Velociti operates on an outdated, insular mindset, with leadership that has been in place for decades, having never worked outside the company. The phrase “That’s just the Velociti Way” is repeated daily—meant to silence innovation and reinforce their unwillingness to evolve. Gender bias is rampant, and new ideas are quickly shut down. Employees who challenge the status quo are labeled as "not a team player" or "resistant," while those who stop speaking up are accused of lacking initiative. Velociti thrives on chaos rather than strategy. Leadership lacks direction, reacting impulsively to customer suggestions without a clear vision. New hires, excited to bring expertise from outside industries, quickly find themselves dismissed as “the new people”—expected to conform rather than contribute. Despite employing remote workers, the company micromanages local employees with rigid in-office requirements, showing a clear lack of trust. Promotions are given in title only, with no corresponding pay increase, and employees are made to feel they should be grateful to be part of the "Velociti family" rather than expect fair compensation. The company culture is built on a foundation of sexism, racism, and excessive drinking. Gaslighting is rampant—employees are constantly made to question their own abilities and reasoning. If you speak up, you’re a problem. If you stay silent, you’re seen as disengaged. There is no winning here. Protect your confidence, your time, and your sanity. There are far better places to work—Velociti is not one of them.

Pros

If you work 2nd or 3rd shift, lots of down time.

Cons

No benefits. No time off without penalty. Even if you are out for court or a medical issue, you will be written up. No raises. Mandatory 30 minute break taken out of pay for every shift.
