Pros

Some managers care, best product in EHS

Cons

Liars everywhere. Pandemic hits and they tell everyone is staying employed. A week later, fired 60 people. Clearly pushed out the creating group of the company and sales top leadership are basically con artists that are good sales people, bad humans. Sales aren't going well at all for the company since Covid-19 hit as well.

Pros

Work culture at VelocityEHS is diverse, fun and frequently boozy. You will easily make friends in any department. The CEO is very friendly and engaging. He will make you feel like you’re seen if you have the chance to get acquainted. The rooftop is a major treat, especially during the summer, and working at the Mart has many perks. Company has many swags. They truly care about their brand.

Cons

Leaders in the Customer Care department like to build the idea that there’s growth and room for advancement. While this is true, this is also quite a paradox. Salary is not competitive with the market, so most employees feel discouraged, undervalued and frustrated. Leaders also play favoritism, so if you’re ever interested in climbing the ladder, be careful! They probably already have an impression about you and will dance the idea in circles around you until you give up. Not to mention, they might sabotage you by inundating you with work until you break down and cry, and ultimately quit. They also tend to higher externally for level 2s or higher (including managers). Seems counterproductive but they have competent Coordinators who are just as eligible to train them on their job. This is quite ironic. In retrospect, this is a good place to start if you’re looking to advance your career in Customer Care, whether it would be in onboarding, customer service or project coordination.
