For a company that promotes benefits services for other companies, we should offer stellar ancillary benefits to show other companies how it's done. This is one of the only companies I've worked for in the last 10 years that has a rather old-fashioned view of PTO, paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, health & wellness reimbursement, etc. People are surprised when I tell them the benefits we get from working here...as we promote and offer so many amazing things for our clients. Word on the street is that if someone has an office they are "safe" and are not easy to get rid of. When it comes to one of the "office" people who is acting less than mangerial, do they have immunity? And what if this person is leading the HR team....you start to notice that people are deterred from going to HR because, well, the person who is running that department has no real HR qualities. They are not trust worthy, they talk about employees (making fun of them) behind their backs, and yet somehow that is fine...?
