Pros

Amazing workplace; kind and generous; Venterra really does CARE about their employees and residents; technology forward; constantly working to become better; fun and interactive events throughout the year; Venterra cares about all the voices in the company no matter what position you hold; encourages you to find reason to make peoples day.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons to working for Venterra. I have had very negative work experiences. I even suffer from PTSD and anxiety from one of my previous employers. Venterra has been supportive, patient and kind with me despite my problems. They constantly surprise and impress with me. You cannot go wrong with them.

Pros

I have worked for a few other companies within the industry, but I can genuinely say that I have never felt as home as I do with Venterra. Your thoughts, opinions, and ideas are all heard by upper management, and not only do they listen to you, they respect and value your opinion. As an on-site team member, that is one of the hardest things to find. If your values align with their core values and you embody that, you will be successful. Every person working within Venterra works with passion and joy in their work. They are selective in who they hire, and always stress to ensure it will be a good culture fit for their team, as Venterra is truly a collective innovative mind, pushing to achieve excellence. They continue to grow, so the growth opportunities are there and are encouraged as they tend to hire internally which is how it should be. I can’t wait to see where this company goes and so excited to be apart of it! I could go on and on.

Cons

The cons are usually the easiest part when writing a review for other companies. Venterra is just that great I have none.

Comfortable and Familiar

Pros

Time off for volunteering, competitive pay, reasonable work life balance, pretty good job security, continued education stipend, yearly conferences that are pretty fun, the company is fairly willing to spend money on employees, little gifts and lunches on workiversaries and birthdays, birthdays off, hybrid schedules, they are open to lateral moves, and lots of other little benefits that are nice.

Cons

It's still a corporate job. If you are coming from corporate at another company, the things that are cons there are also cons here. A decent amount of politicking and game playing, not a lot of transparency, and a few leaders that are dug in deep but toxic to the company as a whole. There are lots of little things I can nitpick, but at the end of the day, its like most other corporate cubicle jobs: you're a cog in the machine, they don't really care what you think, they are definitely keeping score at all times, and REAL promotions are exceedingly rare. It's likely not worse than you've experienced, but don't be fooled into thinking it will be all that different.
