Great at the beginning. What is not said is how they churn people
Pros
Job is tough so if you can do this, you can go and do sales in most places. They do not have a good training program, you have to come up with your own way of doing it, as a script is given to you that worked probably 10 years ago. Company is ran very immaturely by a bunch of kids, and do not place at a spot to succeed. staff is friendly, hours are good, and you're on your own door to door.
Cons
What is not said, once a customer goes solar the company and you must wait another 25 years in order to replace it. no repeat customers and no other ways to make money for reps. only new business at all times. sounds cool? sure it does... once a market saturates, you must move to another one, at another state. bad for the employee, and they blame you because you can't make sales lol. Only owners benefit as they keep the contracts, taking fees meanwhile you got paid $100 and minimum wage. and they made $15-$40k on the job. (of course they got to pay everyone employees, installers, building, extra salaries.) you don't have anyone who's good at the job, and a lot of the decisions don't make sense and are child like. Go somewhere else if you're looking for high income and duration.
