Verifone WAS a good company. No company is perfect, sure Verifone has had it struggles in the past before they were acquired by FP. However, they had great people that could roll up their sleeves to get things fixed. However, since mid-2018 the new management team (FP) has been firing people indiscriminately without understanding their role. The hardworking people that used to fix things are all gone, leaving only those that were lucky enough to hide under a rock so not to get fired and the yes men and women who kiss Mike P’s... There are a few good people left but they are having to carry such a huge load that customer and partners are going to suffer.

Management will work you to the bone and not appreciate all your hard work. They don't offer any incentives for the hard work you do. Most companies in the bay area offer free drinks and food like weekly/ monthly lunches this company does not. Most companies have a bonus plan this company only offers bonuses to management and upper management. Most companies offer stock in the company this company only offers stock to management & upper management.
