Pros

Working around cannabis and being able to share love and knowledge to patients who really do need it. Even fun to sell to ones who don’t lol.

Cons

Management and ownership is a mess. Even the grows should looks better. They need to feed the plants better.

Pros

We get various samples occasionally, but can often go months without any. That's literally it.

Cons

Everything else. Like any other awful retail gig, metrics play a massive part in your day-to-day routine. The issue is, though, that there's absolutely zero incentive to make the metrics outside of possibly losing your job. Why in the hell do I care what the average transaction amount is when I'm making sixteen bucks an hour, can't accept tips, and only receive taxed "bonuses" every other month? What a joke. You're forced to peddle poor product (the in-house brand is an embarrassment) with little-to-no information about it. The aforementioned "samples" are, more often than not, products that aren't carried anymore. So, unless you've spent what little money you make here on the product, there's a good chance that you won't know anything about it when explaining it to customers. Finally, the most shocking is the lack of security. They hire a single person to act as a presence more than actual security, which means that they essentially hold the door open for customers and say hello. Since there's only one on site at a time, they tend to get bored and retreat to the bathroom for twenty minutes at a time, meaning that there are long lapses when NO SECURITY IS WORKING. This is unacceptable in this industry. I hoped to find an in with a new industry. Instead, I found the worst job of my adult life, with the path to advancement being more of a multi-laned highway that ends in a brick wall. I lasted five months, but was checked out by the second.

Pros

The Marijuana industry is amazing regardless of where you are. The positives I've had working here are not indicative as to how Verilife functions as a company.

Cons

This company does not support the best interests of medicinal patients and cares only about money. This is the type of corporation to lobby $$$$ against home grow and is not afraid to stick to faulty scripts and moot points as to why home cultivation and other beneficial rights should be withheld.
