Pros

They pay pretty good and benefits are decent. Good amount of PTO, if they let you take it...

Cons

Lies, demotions, inexperience, and lack of knowledge on corporate sand upper management levels. Upper management have absolutely no experience or knowledge in Cannabis.

Pros

The people are fantastic. Our manager Jenny, really makes it a fun place to work. She is super helpful if you have a question, keeps snacks and beverages in stock, and makes birthday cakes. There is a lot going on in this industry now, and Jenny keeps us up to date, and fosters a friendly atmosphere. Blue cross/Blue Shield insurance, work form home days, and dispensary experience.

Cons

This industry is very fluid, you have to continually educating yourself. I am a former teacher and love to learn, so I am good with doing a little studying.

Pros

Discounted weed and it’s not hard work.

Cons

This particular dispensary has some of the laziest, unprofessional and narcissistic people I’ve ever had manage me. Everyone that is qualified for management are just regular associates. And the managers are barely qualified to work in a dispensary let alone manage it. There was a lot of turnover because of a particular manager that was probably the laziest person I’ve ever met. But he takes all the credit for stuff getting done. Update they rehired someone who got laid off as the asset protection manager then went to another dispensary and got fired. While he was at verilife he would talk about how he thought it was funny to donate money to satanist terrorist organizations and was telling people that anyone that believes in God and is spiritual is basically dumb trash. He also looked down on anyone that served in the military. I reported it when it happened and nothing came of it. He just kept talking like that. Also he is now the sales manger which he has no experience in. It’s still a giant clique. If you’re not from the old dispensary they ran into the ground you have no chance of moving up at all. So the 3 managers currently running it are a GM that is never present and clearly doesn’t wanna be there, someone that got laid off, fired and is now in a sales position he’s never been in and a lazy narcissist who admitted openly to downing his Xanax with alcohol and that’s why he’s always hours late. What a great place it’s turning out to be. Don’t get on a sinking ship. Find another dispensary job.
